Solid hybrid solar cells with low-molecular-weight hole transport materials (HTM) are promising systems for photovoltaic applications. These materials tend to crystallize, however, as was shown by three-dimensional Raman microscopy. The use of polymer materials as HTM suppresses the crystallization, but the solar cell efficiency is reduced due to a smaller penetration depth of the material into the nanoporous TiO2 layer. In order to improve the filling behaviour of the HTM, heating experiments have been carried out.
