Several theoretical aspects of the recently discovered superconductivity [1] in field doped polyacenes are considered. The electron-phonon coupling constant for internal modes λintra is estimated using the results of Ref. 2 and the density of states N(0) estimated from a full potential LDA band structure calculation for anthracene within the rigid band approximation. The strength of the elel interaction as well as the effect of the strong electric field are briefly discussed.
