Several theoretical aspects of the recently discovered superconductivity [1] in field doped polyacenes are considered. The electron-phonon coupling constant for internal modes λintra is estimated using the results of Ref. 2 and the density of states N(0) estimated from a full potential LDA band structure calculation for anthracene within the rigid band approximation. The strength of the el−el interaction as well as the effect of the strong electric field are briefly discussed.
