Half-metallic materials are coumpounds showing metallic properties only in one spin channel. An example of a materials with this properties is ferromagnetic CrO2. For the case of antiferromagnetics of this type one still doesn’t have an experimental proof of their existence. Since they can show some appealing properties, it would be interesting to give a hint on where to look for them. On this poster one will discuss a model candidate for the above case using mean-field and dynamical mean-field methods.
