Phase diagram and dynamics of a projected SO(5) model by stocastic series expansion — •Ansgar Dorneich1, Enrico Arrigoni1, Matthias Troyer2, Werner Hanke1, and Shou-Cheng Zhang31Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Würzburg, Am Hubland, 97074 Würzburg — 2Institut für Theoretische Physik, ETH Zürich — 3Department of Physics, Stanford University

We use the quantum Monte-Carlo technique of stochastic series expansion [1] to analyse a model of triplet and charge pair bosons (bond bosons) describing a system with projected SO(5) symmetry [2]. We study the nature of the superconducting and antiferromagnetic transitions, focusing on the vicinity of the multicritical point where the superconducting and antiferromagnetic transition lines meet. We determine condensation energies and examine spin correlation spectra, and compare these with recent results obtained from neutron resonance experiments in the underdoped range.
