On quantum differential forms — •Bertfried Fauser and Heinz Dehnen — Universität Konstanz, Fachbereich Physik, Fach M678, D-78457 Konstanz
The exterior algebra is universal and therefore unique. If however additional structures are added, e.g. a distinguished linear form, a co-product, or a deformation one finds non-isomorphic ‘quantized’ exterior products and quantum exterior algebras (QEA). This notion is related to time- versus normal-ordering in QFT. The present note explores the theory of quantum exterior algebras (QEA) and Quantum Differential Forms (QDF) to some extend. The classical and quantum exterior derivative is given, closed and exact forms are examined and the non-trivial impact of (deformation) quantization on Cauchy-Riemann differential equations and de Rham co-homology is given.
