Photoproduction of π0π0 on protons at CB-ELSA — •Igor Horn — ISKP, Universität Bonn
The Crystal Barrel is a detector optimized to detect multiphoton final
states with a large solid-angle coverage.
During the last year photoproduction data including various final states
with
neutral mesons were taken by the CB-ELSA experiment at the electron
stretcher accelerator (ELSA) in Bonn. In particular attention is paid
to the γp→pπ0π0 reaction. The data show
clear structures due to resonance production. Evidence for successive
decays of high-mass nucleon resonances via Δ (1232) and via
resonances of higher mass is observed in different mass regions.
The new data taken at photon energies up to 2.8 GeV will be presented.
