Time of flight distribution of an electrostatical hemispherical electron analyser — •Oliver Kugeler1,2, Simon Marburger1, and Uwe Hergenhahn1,2 — 1Fritz-Haber-Institut, Berlin — 2Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik, Garching
We have modified the electron detection system in a Scienta SES-200 hemispherical electron analyser by replacing the original CCD-camera readout with a delay line anode as provided by Roentdek. This new setup allows for time-resolved detection of electrons and thus integration of the analyser into electron-electron coincidence experiments. The energy and time-resolving properties, in particular the time of flight spread in the hemispheres, have been characterised during the first single-bunch mode of operation period at BESSY II.
