Cationic and anionic clusters of copper, silver and gold are produced by laser vaporization of the solid metal and reacted with carbon monoxide CO in a 4.7T Bruker/Spectrospin CMS47X mass spectrometer. The reactivity toward CO was measured as function of type of metal, cluster size and charge state. Saturation experiments are performed. Results are presented and compared with some previous results about CO adsorption on 5th and 9th subgroup transition metal clusters.
