We investigate the features of self-induced transparency (SIT) in dense ensemble of two-level resonant atoms accounting for local field effect. The case of incoherent light-medium interaction is assumed, i.e. the pulse duration exceeds the phase irreversible relaxation time. The modified area theorem has been obtained under near dipole-dipole interaction (NDDI) conditions for the first time. We have found that unlike the classical McCall-Hahn SIT, the incoherent SIT thresholds depend on the relation between the NDDI constant and the detuning of carrier pulse frequency from the resonance, and also the phase irreversible relaxation time. Soliton and multisoliton solutions of generalized self-consisted Bloch-Maxwell equation system were analyzed. The group velocity dispersion and tilted beam technique were predicted to facilitate essentially the experimental realization of incoherent solitons. It was established that if the excitation pulse duration is comparable with the phase irreversible relaxation time, the quasisoliton regime of light pulse propagation can be realized only.
