Hiding classical data in multi-partite quantum states — •Tilo Eggeling and Reinhard F. Werner — Institut für Mathematische Physik, TU Braunschweig
We present a technique for hiding classical bits in multipartite quantum states. A classical bit is encoded in the choice of one out of a pair of orthogonal quantum states, and cannot be read out by using only local communication and classical communication. We show that there is a rich variety of coding possiblilities differing in the kind of quantum information exchange required for decoding.
