Frequency dependent heat capacity of polymers in the melting region. — •Sergey Adamovsky and Christoph Schick — Universitaet Rostock

For polymers in the melting region, one can observe values of heat capacity, lager than that of amorphous material. An No-dqexcess heat capacityNo-dq, a difference between measured value and expected from degree of crystallinity is observed. The No-dqexcess heat capacityNo-dq shows frequency dependence. We have studied this frequency dependence as a function of crystallization temperature. To broad a frequency range we have used TMDSC as well as AC technique.
