We present low frequency spectra of amorphous vanadyl pyrophosphate ((VO)2P2O7) measured by Raman spectroscopy and neutron scattering at different temperatures. By comparison of the boson peak spectra obtained by the two methods we get the light-to-excitation coupling coefficient. We can also conclude that boson peak and quasielastic scattering are of different microscopic origin.
