We calculate the temperature dependence of Coulomb
blockade peaks in transport through a one dimensional quantum dot in a
quantum wire [1,2]. The interaction is described in terms of the
Luttinger liquid theory. We assume a varying interaction strength
along the system with a maximum at the dot position. We find that the
temperature dependence of the shape of the Coulomb peaks obeys a power
law which shows a crossover due to the inhomogeneity of the
interaction strength. While charging energy and level spacing of the
quantum dot arise from the local interaction strength the conductance
in the Coulomb blockade regime is affected by the entire interaction
landscape along the system [3].
