Recently, we have reported on semiconducting monomers, which can be crosslinked photochemically to yield durable polymer networks. These were found to be absolutely insoluble, enabling the preparation of organic heterostructures with an arbitrary number of layers by solution casting only. Highly-efficient light-emitting diodes containing No-dqgradedNo-dq hole-transport layers with up to six electronic levels were fabricated. Furthermore, the concept allows for patterning of the devices. We will report on the long-term performance of these devices and compare the results with reference structures based on non-crosslinked compounds.
