Implementation of quantum algorithms with Josephson charge qubits — •Norbert Schuch, Jens Siewert, and Klaus Richter — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Regensburg, D-93040 Regensburg, Germany
We investigate the realization of a simple solid-state quantum computer by implementing the oracles for the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm in a system of Josephson charge qubits.
Starting from a procedure to carry out the one-qubit Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm we show how the N-qubit version of the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm can be realized. In order to implement the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm for more than two qubits it is helpful to classify the occuring entangled states. Then we provide ways how to achieve the corresponding gate operations in a setup of coupled qubits.
