The methods of spectroscopic determination of the dissociation degree of hydrogen based on measurements of Hα/Hβ intensity ratios [1] and ratios of Hα, Hβ to the Q1 line of the (2-2) Fulcher-α band together with gas temperature [2] have been extended to use Q1 line intensities of other Fulcher-α bands (0-0, 1-1, 3-3). Special attention is paid to accurate consideration of the unresolved fine structure of atomic lines and the rotational structure of molecular bands. The methods have been applied in studies of a low-pressure, non-equilibrium, pure hydrogen plasma of an arc discharge surrounded by metal surfaces, which showed a rather low dissociation degree of about 0.5%. Results thus obtained are presented and discussed.
