Wide bandwidth multichannel readout is needed for future Air Cherenkov Telescopes (ACT). Here we present results from a prototype device based on a high sampling rate F–ADC (2 GHz) and an input multiplexer. It reduces significantly the cost and improves the performance compared to contemporary systems.
