Light Neutralinos and Supernova 1987a — •Herbert Dreiner — Nussallee 12, D-53115 Bonn

The LEP lower mass bound on the neutralino of about 45 GeV rests on the theoretical assumption of a supersymmetric grand unified theory. If this assumption is dropped we show that there is no lower experimental bound. We also demonstrate that there is now lower bound resulting from electroweak radiative corrections. We then compute the best bound obtained from Supernova 1987a.
