Measurement of Triple Gauge Boson Couplings in e γ Collisions at TESLA — •Jadranka Sekaric and Klaus Mönig — DESY-Zeuthen
In the absence of light Higgs bosons, the W bosons become strongly interacting particles at energies of about 1 TeV that contribute to the mechanism of spontaneous electroweak symmetry breaking. New physics beyond the Standard Model can manifest itself in new particles produced at a collider or by precision measurements of deviations from their Standard Model values. In order to understand the mechanism of EWSB we examined the sensitive observables to anomalous triple gauge boson couplings, κγ and λγ, and estimated the precision, they can be measured with in the process eγ→ W ν. The reaction has been simulated for hadronically decaying W-bosons assuming a set of parameters for the e γ-option of TESLA.
