Scanning tunneling microscopy has been performed to study the adsorption of individual PTCDA (3,4,9,10-perylene tetracarboxylic-dianhydride) molecules on Si(111)-(7x7) surfaces. The molecular orientation, intramolecular features and bias dependency of the molecule adsorbed at the corner holes site are discussed. The isolated molecule and the adsorption at this specific site is analyzed using a Density-Functional theory based Tight Binding (DFTB) method.
