Molecular motion and spin diffusion in tricresylphosphate — •Oliver Baldus and Ernst Rössler — Lehrstuhl für Experimentalphysik II, Universität Bayreuth
The organic glssformer tricresylphosphate (TCP) is investigated above and below its glass transition temperature of 210K using NMR techniques. Stimulated echo experiments revealed the nature of the elementary molecular motion of TCP in its glassy state as well as the influence of spin-diffusion. In addition a line-shape analysis of the measured spectra has been carried out in order to identify the beta-process. Finally the obtained data are compared with simulations.
