An anisotropic multi-component Widom-Rowlinson-Model — •Markus Walther and Michael Biehl — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Julius-Maximilians-Universität, Am Hubland, D-97074 Würzburg, Germany

The M-component Widom-Rowlinson lattice gas model displays interesting ordering and demixing phase transitions see e.g. [1]. For M large enough, e.g. M>6 on the square lattice, an ordered crystal phase appears for intermediate fugacities between the demixed groundstate-like phase and the disordered low density phase.

Here, we study the model in presence of anisotropic interactions, mainly by means of Monte Carlo simulation. We focus on the question, whether crystal ordering is observed in anisotropic systems with a smaller number M of components.
