On the possibility of a modulated order parameter induced by a spin-polarized current in ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet double junctions — •Flavio Nogueira, Dirk Manske, and Karl-Heinz Bennemann — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Freie Universität Berlin
We propose a new method to study the ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet double junctions using functional integrals. With this method we are able to reproduce known results, like for example the destruction of superconductivity by a critical bias voltage when the magnetization is antiferromagnetically aligned. We also discuss about the possible formation of a modulated state for the superconducting order parameter due to the spin-polarized transport.
