Current correlations in magnetotransport — •Wolfgang Belzig1, Malek Zareyan2, Audrey Cottet1, and Christoph Bruder1 — 1Universität Basel, Basel, Schweiz — 2IASBS, Zanjan, Iran
We investigate current fluctuation phenomena in multi-terminal magnetic structures. Such structures are believed to play an important role in the emerging field of spintronics. In particular, we concentrate on the influence of spin-flip scattering on the shot noise in diffusive spin valves or magnetic single electron transistors. It is shown, that information on the various scattering processes can be extracted by noise and/or crosscorrelation measurements.
