The superconducting properties of MgCxNi3, a recently
discovered perovskite superconductor [1] were characterized
by measurements of the specific heat in a temperature range
between 2 and 300K, the resistivity and the ac–susceptibility.
The analysis of the specific heat data revealed a strongly
enhanced value for the jump of the superconducting transition
at Tc ≈ 7 K which can be explained in the framework of
a two–band s–wave model. Below T ≈ 10 K the
temperature dependence of the specific heat is characteristic
for the contribution of ferromagnetic spin–fluctuations. The
influence of paramagnons gives the possibility of p–wave
symmetry of the order parameter and is discussed in comparisson
with the unconventional superconductor Sr2RuO4.
