Optical conductivity of the Hubbard-model on the triangular lattice — •Marcus Renner and Wolfram Brenig — Institut für Theoretische Physik, TU Braunschweig
We present results for the coupled charge carrier- and spindynamics of the two dimensional Hubbard model on the triangular lattice at intermediate coupling strength U/t ∼ 1. Based on the fluctuation-exchange-approximation (FLEX) results for the optical conductivity as a function of temperature, doping and Coulomb correlation will be detailed.
Particular emphasis will be put on the role of vertex corrections to the current-current correlation function, which will be analysed in the framework of a conserving T-matrix approximation. In the infrared regime we will propose an interpretation of our results within a Drude-type approximation for the transport scattering rate. The relevance of our results to the properties of the organic superconductors κ−(BEDT−TTF)2X which are studied intensely is considered.
