Dynamics of the Josephson-fluxon lattice in intrinsic Josephson junctions in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x — •Petra Vergien, Michael Mößle, Dieter Koelle und Reinhold Kleiner — Universität Tübingen, Physikalisches Institut, Experimentalphysik II, Auf der Morgenstelle 14, 72076 Tübingen
We have investigated the dynamic properties of Josephson vortices in the layered superconductor Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x. Using a double side preparation technique, 3 x 3µ m2 stacks with 10 - 20 intrinsic Josephson junctions were prepared from BSCCO single crystals. We have measured current-voltage characteristics of these samples in magnetic fields up to 7 T and different angles between magnetic field and the ab-plane of the crystals. For parallel fields we observe periodic oscillations of the flux flow resistance [1]. We analyzed the dependence of these oscillations on magnetic field, temperature and sample size. Finally we compare the results with simulations using coupled sine-Gordon equations. [1] S. Ooi, T. Mochiku, K. Hirata, Phys. Rev. Lett. 89, 247002 (2002)
