Critical dynamics and critical magnetic fluctuations in superconductors — •Flavio Nogueira, Dirk Manske, and Karl-Heinz Bennemann — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Freie Universität Berlin
We use an exact renormalization group (RG) analysis to derive scaling relations for the critical dynamics of superconductors in a regime where the magnetic critical fluctuations are important. The scaling relation for the frequency-dependent conductivity has a different form with respect to the so called XY universality class. In the case of an extreme type II superconductor, we use duality arguments together with a RG analysis to show that the dynamic exponent is given exactly by z=d/2, where the dimension 2<d<4. This clarify a recent controversy about the value of the dynamic exponent z.
