The paramagnetic phase of V2O3 is investigated using the computational scheme LDA+DMFT. New CPU-intensive quantum Monte-Carlo simulations at lower temperatures than previously [1], i.e. T = 300 K, show that a prominent quasi-particle peak in the photoemission spectrum develops. This result is found to be in good general agreement with the distinct peak that has recently been observed in high-energy bulk-sensitive photoemission spectroscopy measurements at the Spring8 beamline in Japan [2].
