We present high-resolution photoemission data of Pb-doped Bi2−yPbySr2−xLaxCuO6+δ single crystals. The structural approximate (5x1) superstructure of the BiO-planes is almost completely suppressed in spectra what was also confirmed by LEED. We used a polarization of the synchrotron radiation of 22 eV photon energy parallel to the (0,0)-(π,0) direction and determined the Fermi surface of lightly overdoped Bi-2201(n=1) superconductors in the normal state at T=35 K. In comparison to published results of n=2 single crystals we observe only one hole-like Fermi surface. Our experimental Fermi surface of Bi-2201 will be compared in detail with results of Bi-2212 what is of great importance for the current discussion of the bi-layer splitting of n=2. Supported by the DFG (MA2371/1-3).
