Gaussons in nonlinear wave mechanics and solitons in Bose-Einstein condensate with attractive interaction — •Matt Kalinski — Abteilung für Quantenphysik, Universität Ulm, Ulm Germany
We find the relation between the solitons in a Bose-Einstein condensate with attractive interaction and the Gaussons in nonlinear logarithmic wave mechanics. A logarithmic expansion of the Bose-Einstein condensate density shows that Gaussons in the condensate are excited bright solitons with an exponential Marchenko function. Numerical simulations in 1D systems are also provided.
