Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is used to separate overlapping absorption vibrational bands series of different molecules obtained in Multichannel Time-Resolved Absorption Spectroscopy Experiments in Laboratory. The statistical properties of data arrays in the chemical system generated by flash photolysis of I2 in O3 are studied in order to justify the use of such a generative linear model in this context. Results of ICA for datasets in appropriate spectral windows displaying vibrational features are presented. The mixing matrices obtained for these windows are put into a Least Squares model to derive successfully pure qualitative complete-ranged spectra -including both the complete vibrational features and the continua- of IO, OIO and possible higher iodine oxides, as well as quantitative spectra of I2 and O3.
