We have applied the new self-consistent HFB-2 model [1] in our canonical [2] and dynamical network [3] r-process calculations. The neutron number densities for the “waiting-point” nuclides were determined from the nuclear Saha equation. With time-dependent calculations, we determined the duration of the process at the magic neutron numbers N=50, 82, 126. In addition to the canonical seed element Fe we investigated the influence of higher-Z seed elements.
