KLOE results on φ radiative decays — •Barbara Valeriani — barbara.valeriani@iekp.fzk.de

The KLOE experiment at DAΦNE, the e+e collider working at the φ(1020) meson, has started to realize its wide physics program with the analysis of the statistics collected in 2000 (∼ 20   pb−1) and in 2001/2002 (∼ 160   pb−1, ∼ 300   pb−1). Radiative decays of the φ have been investigated. A precise knowledge of the η / η′ mixing angle has been achieved by studying the decays φ → η γ, φ → η′ γ.The measurement of the branching ratios of the decays φ → π0 π0 γ, φ → η π0 γ has allowed to study the couplings of the f0 (a0) to KK and to ππ (ηπ), giving new hints on the controversial nature of the two scalar mesons. A first evidence of the decay f0→ π+π has been found in the analysis of the process e+e→ π+πγ. Improved results are expected from the analysis of the large statistics collected in 2002, that will significantly reduce the present statistical and systematical errors.
