Chiral Hydrodynamics near the critical end point — •Kerstin Paech, Adrian Dumitru, and Horst Stoecker — JWG Universitaet, Institut fuer Theoretische Physik, Robert-Mayer-Str. 10, 60054 Frankfurt am Main
We present solutions for the classical dynamics of the long wavelength modes of the chiral fields coupled to hydrodynamic expansion of a fluid of quarks. The effective Lagrangian permits both second order chiral phase transitions as well as first order transitions with varying latent heat. We study the dynamical non-equilibrium phase transitions in the presence of fluctuations of the chiral fields, and the hydrodynamical expansion of the quarks about a critical endpoint of the line of first order transitions.
