Low-energy spectroscopy of nucleus 58Cu — •Alexander Lisetskiy, N. Pietralla, K. Jessen, I. Schneider, A. Schmidt, and P. von Brentano — Institut für Kernphysik, Universität zu Köln, D-50937 Köln

The structure of the nuclei which lie on the N=Z line provides a sensitive test for the isospin symmetry of nuclear forces and effective residual interactions. In odd-odd N=Z nuclei, in contrast to other nuclei, the states with total isospin quantum numbers T=0 and T=1 are in the same energy region, that allows to study them by means of γ-spectroscopy. Recently [1-4] the experimental and theoretical work has been carried out in Cologne for the investigation of the structure of the N=Z odd-odd nuclei 46V, 50Mn, 54Co and 58Cu. The data on low spin states in the odd-odd nuclei 58Cu investigated with the 58Ni(p, nγ)58Cu reaction at the FN-tandem accelerator in Cologne are discussed in the present work. The data are compared to full pf-shell model calculations for the positive parity states with new residual GXPF1 interaction and to shell model calculations in the pf5/2-space with the residual SDI. The manifestation of quasideuteron configurations and an identification of isospin T=0 and T=1 doublets for Jπ=2+ and Jπ=4+ in 58Cu nucleus are discussed.
