In light of recent Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) experiments with nuclear targets, it is topical to study the effects of the target nucleus in this reaction. We present a simple calculation, in the spirit of the convolution approximation, which enables one to estimate nuclear effects in the amplitude for DVCS on nuclei.
