Hadronization in a quark molecular dynamics for heavy ion collisions at SPS and SIS/200 energies. — •Stefan Scherer and Horst Stöcker — Institut für Theoretische Physik, Johann Wolfgang Goethe–Universität, Frankfurt am Main
We use a quark molecular dynamics model incorporating a long range confining potential between (anti-)quarks to look at the hadronization of the fireball created in a heavy ion collision at SPS and SIS/200 energies. Within this model, time scales of hadronization and different No-dqtemperaturesNo-dq – from final particle ratios, and from pT spectra of initial and hadronizing quarks – can be studied and compared to results from equilibrium calculations.
