The stability of the relativistic three body system and in-medium equations — •Stefano Mattiello1, Michael Beyer1, Tobias Frederico2 und Hans-Juergen Weber3 — 1University of Rostock — 2CTA Sao Paulo — 3University of Virginia
We present a relativistic three-body equation to study the transition from quark to nucleons as relevant degrees of freedom (Mott transition). We consider first the isolated case and then medium effects. Using a zero-range interaction we investigate the stability of the isolated three body system studying the dependence on an invariant parameter Λ. The relativistic in-medium three-body equation is derived within a systematic Dyson equation approach and includes the dominant medium effects due to Pauli blocking and self energy corrections. Relativity is implemented utilizing the light front form. We present correlations between two- and three-particle binding energies and calculate the three-body Mott transition.
