The emission of composite particles in GeV-proton induced spallation reactions has so far not been thoroughly studied experimentally. More detailed data, however, are required for a better modelling of these reactions, in particular, as to the pre-equilibrium phase. The NESSI detector system, a combination of two 4π-detectors for neutrons and charged particles, has been supplemented by 6 fourfold ΔE-E telescopes to provide the data needed as a function of thermal excitation energy. The telescopes consist of 3 silicon detectors (25, 80 and 1000 µm) backed by a 7 cm long CsI crystal and allow for identification of 1,2,3H, 3,4,6He, 6,7,8,9Li, 7,9,10Be, and 10,11B with mass resolution of ΔA ≤ 0.2 amu for E/A> 3.5 MeV/A and ΔA ≤ 0.4 for E/A < 3.5 MeV/A. Their dynamical range (1.5 to 200 MeV/A) covers almost completely the particle energies both for the evaporation and the pre-equilibrium regime of the reaction. First results from the reaction p(2.5GeV)+Au has been published recently[1]. This contribution presents new systematic data for various target nuclei from Al up to U and incident proton energies of 0.8 to 2.5 GeV.
