In [1,2] we proposed and developed a QCD motivated relativistic quark model, which can be viewed as a quantum field approach based on an effective Lagrangian describing the transition of light and heavy hadrons (mesons and baryons) to their constituent quarks. In our talk we present a summary of results obtained within our approach for exclusive heavy baryon decays.
