Charged kaons in FOPI spectrometer — •Zbigniew Tyminski — Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung, Darmstadt, Germany — Warsaw University, Warsaw, Poland
Most models predict the change of the properties of kaons when they are
immersed in the nuclear medium, e.g. their mass depends on the density of
the baryonic nuclear medium.
SIS energy regime is well suited for the investigating of modification of
strangeness production and propagation processes due to the presence of the
baryonic medium.
The FOPI collaboration has successfully measured kaons and anti-kaons
at various incident energies and in different collision systems.
We present an update of the systematics of charged kaons production as a
function of system size [1], K+/K− ratio dependence on rapidity and
transverse momentum [2] and differential flow of K+ [3] as well as an
outlook for the possibilities from planed experiments.
