Hadronic physiscs effects in the decay of heavy hadrons — •Alexander Lenz — Lehrstuhl V. Braun, Fakultaet fuer Physik Universitaet Regensburg, D-93040 Regensburg
Decays of heavy quarks can be very well described by the use of an expansion in the inverse of the heavy quark mass. Within that framework short-distance physics (perturbative QCD) is seperated from long-distance physics (hadronic physics). We will review the current theoretical status of predictions for decays of heavy hadrons, with a special emphasis on the hadronic effects for lifetime predictions of hadrons which contain a charm or a bottom quark.
