193Os is the heaviest Osmium isotop accessible by one neutron transfer reaction. Data from (d,p) experiments with high resolution at the Munich Q3D spectrograph provide new information on the nuclear structure of this odd-even nucleus. Our Atomic beam source with cesium charge exchange produces a polarized beam which hits the target of highly enriched 192Os. Spin, parity and spectroscopic factors of levels with excitation energies up to 1.7MeV are deduced from the angular distributions of the (d,p) reaction. We compare the lower lying negative parity states with IBFM-2 and SUSY model calculations.
The level scheme given by a SUSY approach approximately resembles the experimental data. The IBFM-2 calculation reproduces the lower lying nuclear excited states quite well. The work was supported by the DFG (C4-Gr894/2-3) and MLL.
