High spin states in the odd-even nucleus 69As — •I. Stefanescu1, J. Eberth1, I. Ragnarsson2, G. Carlsson2, G. Gersch1, T. Steinhardt1, O. Thelen1, N. Warr1, and D. Excited states in 69As have been studied using the 40Ca(32S,3p)69As reaction at 95 and 105 MeV beam energy delivered by the VIVITRON accelerator of the IReS Strasbourg. Gamma rays have been detected with the EUROBALL spectrometer operated in conjunction with the Neutron WALL and the charged-particle detector EUCLIDES. New level sequences with positive and negative parity have been identified from γγ and γγγ coincidences. Spins and parities were deduced, whenever possible, from the analysis of the DCO ratios and from a comparison with the systematics.

The results are interpreted in the framework of the configuration-dependent cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky approach [1].
