On the basis of the supersymmetric version of the interacting
boson model it is possible to describe even-even, even-odd
and odd-odd nuclei simultaneously.
In the quartet 194,195Pt, 195,196Au relevant parts of
experimental spectra can be reproduced successfully in
supersymmetric theory [1],[2].
To extend these studies on the neighboring quartet of nuclei
a (d→,p) transfer experiment to 197Pt was performed.
Excitation energy spectra and angular distributions were
measured with a polarized deuteron beam at the Munich Q3D spectrometer.
Results from this experiment - excitation energies, spins
and parities - are presented and compared with model predictions.
