New results from the CERES Electron Pair Spectrometer in Pb-Au collisions at 158 GeV/c per nucleon. — •Sergey Yurevich — Physikalisches Institut der Universität Heidelberg
In 2000 the CERES/NA45 experiment at the CERN SPS measured e+e− pair production in Pb-Au collisions at 158 GeV/c per nucleon. The data sample taken during the 2000 run comprises about 32 million central collisions. The upgrade of the experimental setup with the radial drift TPC has improved the mass resolution and increased the rejection power as well as electron identification. Latest results on low-mass pair analysis will be presented.
