Electron beamline design of the A4 Compton backscattering polarimeter — •Jeong Han Lee — Institut für Kernphysik — Universität Mainz, D-55099 Mainz, Germany
Using the elastic scattering of longitudinally polarized electrons on an unpolarized proton target, the A4-collaboration of the Dept. of Nuclear Physics, University of Mainz, measures the parity-violating asymmetry. For a good measurement of the polarization of the electron beam, detailed information about beam is required. For the design of the beamline, the TRANSPORT program and general plot software have been used. Now the connecting TRANSPORT and ROOT software is in progress.
This talk will present the result of beamline design and progress.
