The BABAR experiment located at the asymmetric e⁺e⁻ collider PEP-II at SLAC has recorded a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 150 fb⁻¹ since 1999. In April 2003 BABAR found the new narrow resonance D_sJ^*(2317)^± in D_s^±π⁰ system.
Several suggestions for the classification of this new state below DK threshold are discussed at the moment, one is the interpretation of the D_sJ^*(2317)^± as an exotic DK bound state. The investigation of D_s^±π^±, D_s^±π^∓ and D_s^±π⁺ π⁻ could contribute to this discussion. The analysis of these systems is described.
